Will; I'll accept the statement (somewhere else on the Kbbs) that people get what they deserve when they buy plans and use full size patterns. What I can't tolerate is paying full price, as you apparently did, and getting mismatched collection of parts that are supposedly high quality, expensive wood, cut out on a computer controlled machine (the cost of which contributes to the price of the kit) and going through the agravation you have had!! A portion of your troubles were self-induced, but a meticulous assembler would still be left with the mismatch parts. I would be tempted to drive to Maryland and get replacements for the parts!! Perhaps I misunderstand some of your post, but still it seems that the kit was doomed to begin with. Good luck, and with the good help you've gotten, she'll float, and still look good. TNX, Scotty
