You can take a cup, calibrated like that, and then set it in another clear cup (or, failing that, shine a high-intensity light into the inner cup). Obviously, since the cup top/bottom has some vertical height, you can't nest them perfectly together; there is some (1/8"-1/4") of "stack height". Mark the second cup with the calibrations of the first cup. Cut a slot in the 2nd cup, right next to the markings, and you now have a "master cup" suitable for marking any number of similar cups.
