Yeah, they can put the file on just about any media you can name. I just suggested CD's because most people have them and they hold a lot of pix. Depending on the image quality (the resolution of the photo, not the skill of the photographer!) wanted, some media are better than others.

A high quality Kodak PhotoCD image can easily be 4MB in size, and they don't compress much! An image like that won't fit on a floppy. Jpeg files store a lot in a small space, but it's a lossy compression, so it's not the best to use as your master image...

Anyway, this is starting to sound too much like work!
