One really cool thing about language is that you can say one thing and everyone can hear something completely different!

Although I appreciate your answers - this is the question I was trying to ask:

When one attempts to make an accurate measurement using measuring cups - you fill the cup to appointed line - then empty the contents into the mising vessel. The problem is that not all of the fluid being measured can be removed from the mixing cup. Some of the epoxies I have used have resin and hardener of differing viscosities. I had the feeling that even when I filled the measuring cups with the exact same volume of resin and hardener - differing amounts of residue could be leftover resulting in a faulty ratio. I never actually had a problem - but when mixing up a tablespoon of stuff - I thought I might. Does anyone have a good way of getting (almost) all of the goop out of the cup? I think next time I will use syringes as others have mentioned - what a great idea. I just need to find somewhere besides West Marine to buy them. I love West Marine because they always have what I want - but it also costs a great deal more.
