Hey Pete,

Check out the latest issue of SeaKayaker Magazine. I saw it the other day at Barnes and Noble.....there is an article about building a stitch and glue kayak....I can't remember what the design is but it just might be the West River.....and the mesurements for the plank shapes are in there too! Time constraint has just about got me to the decision to build a S&G boat also. I need a double....something like the B&B Birder II or a Mill Creek. Since I finished the canoe, the whole family has discovered the joy of paddling, so I need something fairly quick to get together, so we can all go at the same time. Eventually, they all want one of those Venture 14' s (unlike myself, the rest of the family are pretty small). Good luck, garland
