Hi Terry, I have to agree with Nick and Lee. A 22' x 26" boat is a lot of boat for one person. I don't know you, but I'm guessing you wouldn't like it. If you're making a double that size, you just might love it. I am thinking of making a Guillemot scaled up 1.25 times to be 21' x 26" for a double.

Why do you want it bigger to fit your body? Are you heavy, or are you tall? Or both? If you're larger, maybe make the boat a tad wider, but keep the length. If you're tall, you can keep the hull the same shape, but add a bit of deck height to make room for larger feet (like me).

Ed Valley is 6'-4", 240 lbs. He built a standard-sized Expedition Single, but widened the cockpit, and he loves the boat.

Don't worry too much about a 21" wide boat--Nick's designs are pretty stable; it may feel a tiny bit uncomfortable at first, but you can definitely grow into it.
