I built my Coho and now the Tern on a table that's 32" wide and as long as you want (I started at 20', then reduced to 16' when I moved indoors for winter). This is a good width for me, with room for tools at sides and ends while I'm working. I made the top from particle board shelving, two boards wide, using 16x96" shelves. They were easy to handle, easy to transport, and lots straighter than most of the plywood and particle board sheets I looked at. Built six sawhorses using the metal devices from Home Depot which allow you to insert your own 2x4s. Made 'em 30" wide, with legs enough for me. Strung 'em together with 2x4s laid on top, then laid 32" 1x4s which I had as scrap across the table base at intervals of a couple of feet so they looked like a really cheap, rickety ladder. Set the top on that, shot in a few nails, and it's both level and steady. Wasn't wide enough to hold all 6 Coho pieces at once, but was wide enough for the 4 Tern pieces. Mike
