Once you glass one side of the deck and hull and remove them from the forms, they are still fairly flexible. When they're inverted and resting in slings, they may deform slightly from the shape of the forms. Now, if you glass the inside of each, the shape is pretty much set in stone and you'll have a heck of a time taping them back together. What I did to keep this from happening was to measure the form width at the sheer, and use scrap strips to expand or packing tape to squeeze the deck and hull to the right dimensions. I did this after I had draped the cloth inside. Once cured, I had little difficulty joining the two pieces.
