Hi Rehd,

Try CLCs page "Boatbuilding Terms Defined". There's a link below, this should get you pretty much up to speed on the jargon.

Also, I've picked up a lot reading just about anything I can get my hands on about boatbuilding. WoodenBoat magazine is always good, and Nicks & Chris' books are definately worth a read, I am waiting to get a copy of Ted Moores' new book "KayakCraft".

As an aside, can anyone tell me if there are offsets for the endeavour 17 included in KayakCraft?
