I agree with Ross. After 2 false starts, I used 8 ratchet straps spaced at 2 ft. intervals. It's much easier to push in a high spot than to lever out a low spot, so in the places where the halves don't quite line up, insert a shim under the strap at the high spot, smack it a couple times with a rubber mallet, and it will behave. Shim only the hight spot though, whether on hull half or deck half, don't bridge the seam.
