First Launch, second kayak

Had a succesful first launch of the second Pygmy Coho, this one is the wife's kayak. It seems lighter and perhaps slightly more tippy than my first Coho, perhaps I learned how to apply the epoxy a littler lighter?

Both are stock pygmy, including bulkheads and hatches, but using the blocks glued inside with t-nuts instead of the stock, through the hull bolting of foot pegs.

Winter projects include varnishing, and starting customization, including hip and knee braces and perhaps trying to clean up the looks of the hatch latch mechanism.

Next summer, perhaps the Pygmy Wineglass Wherry, an Artic Tern 14, a skin on frame, or something completely different.

Winding down the fun project season, need to get more framing, wiring, and insulation into the barn as the weather turns too cool for epoxy to cure.

Need to figure out the best scheme for winter storage. Balancing the desire to continue to kayak in winter with the reality of cold wet storms, short days, and winter blahs that may very mean the kayaks sit out most of the winter.
