FOAM AND CAULK

Hey, I'm about to buy foam fo my seat, knee braces, hip braces, back rest, and bulkheads. I also need caulk to secure and waterproof the bulkheads. Any suggestions as to where to get it? I've heard that Perception has some really good foam for carving, but my computer won't let me on their website and I can't find their phone number. One more thing, wherever I take my kayak, I know I won't take much stuff with me, partially because there's no where to go in Cincinnati and partially because I usually only bring the bare necessities. Anyway, I don't think it would be worth it to cut hatches just for a few belongings, so I have an idea. I'm thinking about putting a bulkhead a few inches behind the back of the cockpit and then cutting a water tight door in it. Then I'll have a water proof compartment and not have to cut hatches. Good idea? Bad idea? Please let me know what you think. Thanks! DJ
