Another way of doing this would be to use a small plastic bag and that expanding foam insulation sold in hardware stores for fixing leaks around home windows. Seal the bag around the applicator nozzle, sit on the bag and fill it up with foam. You could trim of the excess and you would have a mould for seats for all your future kayaks too. Just cover with plastic wrap and fiberglass. Ian
