Thanks everyone for your input.

I did a bunch more research on the chat boards (www.woodmagazine.com and the chat section of www.ryobi.com). The main gripe that I saw with the ryobi was the tinted blade guard. I went to Home Depot, and Eagle Hardware & Garden and played with them until the salesmen were sick of seeing me. I didn't want to spend too many $ for a saw. Since I'm using my garage and the saw needs to be moved out of the way, a cabinet saw was not ideal.

I ended up buying the Ryobi BT300SX, the dust bag, a 60 tooth Freud blade, and the wheel kit. I had a 10% off coupon at Eagle so that helped.

I cut some strips of Oak today (just testing it out) and it worked just fine. It actually seams to be a pretty good saw. I'm thinking of bringing the 60 tooth blade back. It isn't any narrower than the blade that came with it, and the blade that came with the saw cut the Oak with no problems. I can always buy the blade again if I need it someday.

Thanks again for all of your input.
