If you are looking for extremely inexpensively priced Shock Cord try the Louis A. Green Corp (www.louisagreen.com/shock.htm). I just ordered 1/4" Shock Cord for what came to 3.7 cents per foot! Every other source I found was in the 25 cent price range. They have various thicknesses and colours to choose from. Of course at this price there is a catch in that there is a minimum Total order of $45 and the smallest spool you can buy is 150 feet. Also, they have to special order colours other than white which means the smallest spool is now 500 feet. More than most people need to be sure but I thought this may be of interest to people building multiple boats or who have other uses for shock cord.
