What I have is "liquid nails" contact cement, from home d'pot. I lost a hip brace on my Cape Charles last weekend, after 3-1/2 years. But, the seats on my Tred Avon that had just been glued down didnt hold. I think you have to smear a pretty thick glob on both surfaces, and then let it dry for 10 minutes or so, until it is uniformly dull. Then, you get one shot at putting it in the right place.
