I am a first time kayak builder. I used System Three Clear Coat. It does not produce an amine blush. I used it under several different conditions of temperature and humidity for sealing the wood and for wetting out several layers of 4 oz and 6 oz clothes, E-glass and kevlar. I used it to fill the weave also (and it didn't require as many applications to fill the weave as the MFR claimed it would; three applications with some sanding between). I had not a single problem with it! I chose that epoxy because it doesn't produce the amine blush and it doesn't have an amber color. I have not used the other brands so I don't know how well they work. The only problem I had with the whole boat was small air bubbles in the cloth in some small areas that I could not see until the weave was filled and everything became clear like glass. Also, be carefull not to drip sweat on the cloth at any time while working with it.
