Since we are in the middle of a discussion on alternatives to hatch straps, and DZUS I went looking for other alternatives, and I found these. I am considering the slotted model (WW=01) in the black power coat finish.

These latches are nice since they would mount on the hatch. (worst case I make a new hatch) Also, there are O-Rings and sealing washers available to seal the hole that is cut for the latch.

Has anyone looked into these latches before? What are the opinions about these?
