I've been on several club paddles on which there were several S&G boats. Passed countless other kayakers or stopped to chat with them. On one paddle nearly 50% of the kayaks were wood.

On the other hand, I've *never* seen another stripper (this is the first year I've been looking though). I know Lewis Crenshaw lives in my area and has one, but I've yet to meet him.

I too am planning to build a S&G this winter as I think I'm ready for my "second" boat. The hard part will be convincing the wife...
