I have built three CLC's from plans. I enjoyed the experience, however, after adding up my hours shagging around for materials, cutting out the panels, coaming parts, etc - I figure I've saved about $50 over the kits. That is if I pay myself $10 per hour just to get up to all parts cut and ready to go together. I'm all done with plans. I was nice, but other than my strippers, the s&g's will all be kits from here on.

BTW - I love my Guillemont Exp. Single, however, like the other gentleman said, you will still get the oo's and aah's, and you will NEVER make it from cartop to water in the same time as factory boats. Get used to the 64 questions every time.
