Speaking of dumpster diving. Recently they were pulling down the building next-door to where I work, so I had a look in the dumpster. I found 6 boards 15' x 10" x 1 1/4" clear, straight grained, western red cedar! They've got the odd nail hole, and the bozo who ripped them out and threw them in the dumpster wasn't gentle with the crow bar he used. But damage aside, they'll supply me with enough 3/4" strips for a boat or two :-)

You never know your luck, some people will throw out anything.

Hell, I havn't even finished the S&G yet!
