don't use power tools, this will keep the dust down. I don't know if this will work with a stripper, at least for ripping the strips, but that can be done at a remote location. Or you can buy them already ripped.

Spread plastic out on the floor to keep everything contained.

Keep the door open to keep the fumes down.

I always used the epoxy at times I knew the nieghbors wouldn't be around.

... back to fairing all those deckbeams :)
