Mark, I used c-clamps (the kind that has a 2-3 inch depth) to hold the braces.

No need to clamp very tight since the pipe clamps hold the curve and I

did not have any problems with the edges or twisting.

For my next s&g I'm going to try and make my covers with bead and cove

strips left over from my Expd. Single. Might add a nice touch.
