This is my first experience with epoxy. As already mentioned above, I used a roller to apply the fill coat and then followed that up with a cheap sponge brush to get rid of those tiny little air bubbles and generally smooth out the fill coat....this seemed work well...definitely not perfect, but i figure the final sanding should smooth out the imperfections well enough to produce a suitable finsish..I figure if this thing turns out too nice I'll be sick when I hit the first rock....or whatever else. note: The small flying critters have caused me much more distress than the "orange peel" effect....I made the mistake of leaving the door up and those bright lights on.... once ...imagine the horror at the sight of that first moth dancing around above all that wet epoxy. I'll probably have a few extra passengers (gnats) still embedded at launch time.
