In Response To: Internal Deck Bungies? (CHad)

Hello, I copied the idea from someone on this site when I built my kayak, What I did was to attach four wooden hooks that I had made to the bottom of the hatch cover and then attaching four small blocks to the inside of the kayak with holes in them to thread the bungee cord through. The result is that there are two bungee cords that run side to side beneath the hatch cover , all you need to do is reach in and hook them up to the hooks on the cover. The system is very water tight, because the bungee cords are pulling from more of an angle they put more pressure on the cover. Kenny> I am about ready to fit out my boat. I remember reading(w/ pictures) some
