Great Story Dave!

I saw my near-fully LOADED kayak rolling down the beach on a windy Baja day, again no damage.

However, this only may point out three things:

1. Wind will do amazing things 2. A kayak can withstand a fair amount of pressure sideways 3. Proper attachement of a kayak is important, no matter where you are and what the circumstances are.

The concern I would have is how much a 3mm thick hull will flex in rough ocean paddling, or what surf would do to it.
