Right, this sounds like the "QUICK AND EASY" mounts. I got mine from Gaetono at the Small Boat Shop in Norwalk, CT. I believe they may also be available from Perception. There are also available short sections of stainless steel "gutter" pieces, just long enough to hold the mount, that can be permanently mounted on the roof of any car. Not too ugly at all, and they greatly simplify mounting roof racks! TNX< Scotty
