I've been thinking about security, too. I thought I recalled someone saying you could avoid permanent modification to the hull by using "The Club"(R) across the cockpit, and chaining to that. Does this device expand enough to do this securely--it would have to span the cockpit's largest diameter, i.e. fore-and-aft, right?
