Hi, all. A post down further by Shawn Baker got me thinking. If my plastic boat got ripped off right now I would be mad, but I wouldn't shed any tears over it. What sort of physical security devices is everyone using to secure these beautiful hand-built boats once we head out on the water. I'm thinking of both on-the-rack security and tying up at campsites, portages, etc. When I've been camping with my plastic boat, I just pull it up on the bank and don't worry about it, even if I go off on a dayhike.

Almost done with the hull on my Great Auk. It should be warm outside by the time I get to the fiberglassing stage.
