Ross, I used western red cedar and white pine. The cedar is from a particularly dark board - one of the nice things about western red is that it comes in such a variety of colors. An interesting note - generally speaking, the darker cedar is a little heavier than the lighter colored stuff. Yes, this is one of my new designs, as yet unnamed. It is 16'9" x 22" with slightly less volume than my "Silver" model. I can post more pictures if you'd like - give me a couple of days. Later, Joe
