Epoxy does not neccesarily give off noticable fumes, but some vapor does get into the air. Some people are sensitive to epoxy and can have an allergic reaction. To play it safe you should wear an organic respirator, and avoid any contact of the resin to bear skin.

Just because you don't smell anything does not mean there is nothing there.
