I've always had good luck using pumps.

As have I.

Throughout years of teaching classes and using the typical ketchup style pump for my own needs as well, I have had one serious pump failure, but I caught it before the epoxy was applied.

The standard pumps are not developed specifically for the use with epoxy. They are meant for condiments. They aren't high precision tools. But... they work.

The big precision pump I recommended is very nice, but I went years without it, using the ketchup pumps exclusively. For the infusion resin I use which has a 100:21 ratio, I use a digital and created a Excel table with a range of volumes for easy reference.
