John, I use the Vet style syringes from Farm and Fleet. For me filling them is just dipping the nozzle of the empty syringe into the epoxy and drawing it in with the vacuum of the syringe. Never had a problem with my scales zeroing out ? I have identical syringes for epoxy, fast hardener and slow hardener identified with different color tape. Good idea to use different size syringes :)
I heat my shop and home with an outdoor wood burner so I have exposed hot water pipes going into my furnace, makes a perfect spot to set epoxy containers for preheating.
