Scott,

That was a good reminder.

My wife and I generally take a garbage bag out with us and stop once or twice on a paddle, in addition to our launch point.
We got the idea from a gentlemen who was picking up trash and said that he and a small group would occasionally follow the shore to clean it up.

We inevitably fill up the bag, no matter how good everything looks at first glance.
