Sand out the edge where the skin was removed at the riser.
Use a 1.5" wide strip of glass cut from a roll of cloth and start at the joint of the flange to the riser. You might need to break this in multiple pieces to get around the coaming.

Glass the body as discussed by Nick

Or removed the coaming, glass the body, rebuild the coaming, glass it as you did before. Personally I don't always glass the coaming. Because its a PITA - no issues so far but obviously weaker.
