I may get a book written at some point I have worked on it occasionally. My thought is an electronic book so it can be image intensive and allow for exploratory reading that can be different for each reader. I am thinking of a series of essays maybe 2-3 pages long plus images, each essay being stand alone that tells a story and captures the thoughts during the paddle or trip or boat build..., Similar to what Patagonia used to do in their catalog. Each essay would have links to larger photo galleries and links to more technical information on how I took the images, related natural history.., I would also have links in the essay to related material. I am hoping that I can create a table of contents like a map that tells you what you have already looked at so if you ever get caught in a circle you can go to the contents and pick a new trail. So it would be more like a book you explore than read sequentially, you let your curiosity at the moment guide your direction. Who knows one positive outcome of my current situation is I may find time to get the book done. It seems a shame to have accumulated all of those images and studied and explored all of those places and not share it. I am hoping the cost of purchasing the book would be minimal so cost would not be a barrier to being able to read it.
