It seems like there are several possibilities for bonding the polycarbonate together. My search so far has revealed the bonding polycarbonate to itself may be facilitated using either epoxy or by fusing using a suitable solvent, with the latter method having superior properties. Therefore, I should probably consider a primary bonding based on a solvent fuse but a reinforcement based on glass fiber. Glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate seems to be used, and I'll be looking into the cement used.

How would you go about testing the bond strength? Could you give some pointers on what to look for?
