Has anyone here tried using recycled billboard material? It seems like it would work, and be interesting touch. It's also incredibly cheap compared to new PVC. Anyone? If it works, an inflatable could come in under $100.

I seem to recall folks trying that, and it was full of pinholes.
New 18oz stuff is only 7 bucks a yard...why bother with used?
Making inflatable sponsons is one of those " gotta do that" projects I havent gotten around to...Opens up a lot of other possibilities...
