Hi, I'm interesting in building one of the yostwerks boats, the Sea Cruiser. I'm very new to building boats, so I'm trying to follow the instructions as closely as possible. The yostwerks site recommends .75" OD x .058" wall thickness tubes for all the aluminum. However, it seems that that size is out of stock most places. I found a local source of .75" x .063" tubes. Clearly, the .625" OD inserts will not fit without some sanding.

My question: has anyone tried building a foldable kayak using different size tubes? What was your experience?
