My setup is similar to Nick's and ET's. A 7 1/4" thin kerf circular saw blade mounted in a 10" contractor table saw with a zero clearance insert with a splitter. I reused an old insert. Covered the old slot with tape, flipped it upside down, and filled it with an epoxy-sawdust mixture. My splitter is a piece of basswood hand planed down to match the thickness of the blade. Nick's is a carbon fiber laminate (show off :-).

Like ET, I use a short ripping fence with a magnetic feather board and a power feeder. I picked up the power feeder used. It has greatly improved the quality of my strips and relieved the pain in my back. The rip fence should ideally end before the trailing edge of the blade (unlike that shown in the pic) so that the newly cut strip has some relief to move a bit. The power feeder is angled very slightly to push the board into the rip fence. The power feeder pushes at a nice even rate that prevents burning, kickback, and variations in thickness.

I did try using a short piece of aluminum angle iron but the aluminum will leave a black mark on the face of the newly cut strip. Probably not too big of a deal as it will be sanded off when you fair the boat.

Using this setup I was able to rip ten 10" x 10' boards into 3/16" strips in about 3 hours and not be totally exhausted afterwards.
