I've just ordered the plans and forms for the microBootlegger for my daughter and son-in-law.

Any helpful (or otherwise) suggestions? Experience with this boat?

It will primarily be cedar, with some accents, but I don't have a pattern in mind yet. Probably will not stain the wood - since I have no skills at that.

I am going to do a short section (I call it a "nose") to try out Bjorn's stripping method. No glue when stapling strips down, then epoxy over the joints.

This will not proceed at the speed of ET and others.
