Hi Mike,
Nice one.I,also, like to value what others have dismissed and deliberately add some [value] for good measure.Most of my building materials have had another life.Its reassuring,neat and connects with a different time.I do insist on the best quality though.Not hard to find from a time when values were different.

So true Paul. Right now some of the junk pallets I have are heating my house. Some of the red oak stringers look like the oak strip flooring in my house (I live in an old house). If I can find a way to rip them while avoiding the nails they might just become my new kitchen floor. I'm looking forward to seeing where this reclamation project goes...
