I'm going to be putting the finishing touches on a new stubby skin-on-frame this week and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any guides online for making neoprene spray skirts. I've seen tuilik guides but none for spray skirts which seem a little different to me.

Specifically I'm on the lookout for info about how to correcly size it around the lip and such. Most (many?) of the commercial skirts I'm familiar with just have a well fitted non-adjustable bungee.

I'm thinking about frankensteining a cut-off second-hand farmer john (for the tunnel) to another piece of neoprene.

I'm mostly just trying to use neoprene because the last skirt I made (out of gore-tex like stuff) had a tendency to create a little swimming pool in my lap, and I'm hoping the thicker neoprene won't sink in and pool like the gore-tex.

I'm sure I can just wing it and have things turn out all right, but it certainly never hurt anyone to have good information from the get-go.
