That is a good choice in paint, that it what I use on most of mine. Most (all?) porch and deck enamels are an acrylic enamel. But the great part about polyester is most anything will stick to it. No advice on matching the brand, But I would bet most porch and deck enamels would go over what you have just fine. Just test it on a small spot first.
Was he a part of the Eli Whitney Museum class?
