I would advise not to switch brands or paint makeup. Either paint may have solvents or binders that are incompatible causing failure of one or both layers. If you can find Magic Diamond paint anywhere you would probably be best off to use that even if it's a different color. You can always buy a couple of colors and mix them if the color you have is important.
