I have not used Super 77 glue before. Is it similar to contact cement?

I use contact cement to glue cover my carved, closed cell foam seats, with 1/16" thick neoprene (SweetComposites.com)

Super 77 is a spray contact cement. It is good stuff, but I have found it to not be quite as permanent as standard contact cement. I think maybe the brushing application assures better coverage. There is also 3M Hi-Strength 90 spray that may be better than Super 77, but I haven't tried it for wrapping minicel with neoprene.

Like you I've used the thin neoprene from Sweet and have been happy with the results using contact cement.
