Glassed on both sides but 3mm instead of 4mm plywood, bungee closure at the hatches, foam seat, no rudder, no skeg, so it is light. The hull seems quite solid, no weak areas at all and very rigid. The deck is also solid, though it is clearly lightweight. The cockpit area at the knees/thights is not as solid as i'd like it to be, that I think of it. There is some flex when i brace against it that i noticed and bothered me a bit. Bit this is not a rolling or rough water boat so it was not made with super reinforcements in that area.... I'll probably pass on it, unless the price goes down quite a bit. But the seller seems to want a surf ski that I am selling, so we might get to a mutual understanding this way and both walk out happy enough :)
