Yes, and I think it's above what the boat will be worth to most buyers. Right now it is at $1,300 (was $1,500). Hard to set a price on these things ...... but of course, these are heavier... (e.g., a keyhole Pintail for $1,200, CD Caribou for $900, Nordkapp H2O for $1,400...)

As long as I can lift the boat on to the car, the weight doesn't make a great deal of difference to me, so.....

You mention boat weight quite a bit....one question would be 'How did the builder get this kayak to be so light?'...and I don't necessarily mean that in a 'good way'....
Is the hull/deck glassed on the inside ?

$1500/$1300 for a S&G kayak that's years old and shows some softening of the wood......it takes my breath away, 'fer sure.
