Graphite powder added to epoxy can be used to coat the bottom of the boat prior to varnish or after varnishing IF you propperly prepare the surface by sanding, stripping and cleaning. Some or all methods. Follow manufacturers instructions.
Much easier to add the graphite first. Consider adding silica for hardness in the same application of graphite.
