Hey-

Now that things have died down a bit on this post= I am a former professional saxophonist. Degree from big-time school and stuff, chose to give it up because of health problems. Still have all of my saxophones, but choose not to play them much. Same with my clarinet and flute, although I sold my bassoon long ago. Wonderful instrument, too much money to leave tied up for no reason. Still have a Fender-Rhoades 88 Deluxe and Hohner Corona II accordion, but don't really play them either.

So- I don't mean to add to your musical delinquency, but- over the past couple of years I've been interested in playing the ocarina. Not toy whistles, real professional musical instruments. There is not another instrument that sounds as good for the price. The are wonderful. They have many forked fingerings, which is a bummer, but you get used to it. Check out this web site: https://www.songbirdocarina.com/ They have the best quality/price ratio. The straw-fired instruments are professional quality without getting custom hand-made stuff from Japan. The intonation is much better on these than from other web sites (St. Louis Ocarina) because they're hand adjusted after firing/glazing. Nice plus is you can stick them in your kayak without risk of water damage, so they're nice tripping instruments.

Best of luck with everything.
